Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documentation using Cost-X.
- Assist in cost planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate and process contractor and subcontractor claims and variations.
- Support in procurement processes, including obtaining and analyzing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of works.
- Manage administrative tasks, including document control, filing, and correspondence in support of admin team members.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments.
- Maintain and update project records, databases, and logs.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Provide general support to the project team to ensure efficient project execution.
- 4 years of professional experience on full Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction Estimation – from initial take offs to cost planning
- Experience with major estimation software/tools such as CostX
- Preferably with International Client experience – Australia
- Familiar with the Australian standard of measurement
- Knowledgeable on navigating FTP (File Transfer Protocol) sites i.e. Procore
