About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Global Moving Resources Corporation in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our construction division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by providing expert cost management and quantification services. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction initiatives while contributing to the company's strategic growth.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
• Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
• Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Providing regular cost reporting and forecasting to project stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation of tenders and bids
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborating with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
• Proficiency in quantity take-off, cost analysis, and construction software
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
