Quality & Safety Engineer (H/F) - AIRBUS HELICOPTERS PHILIPPINES INC.

Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance

• Support in idntifying all relevant internal and external regulations, including aviation safety, occupational safety and flight operations requirements.
• Writing/amending company manuals and management of document library.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, handling certification, aircraft approvals , audits, registrations and renewals.
• Perform supplier and subcontractor assessments and duediliginece, ensuring components, materials and services meet required quality and safety standards.
• Facilitate non-conformity management through corrective action processes, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Audit & Risk Management

• Realization of Internal audit plan, including visits to off-site locations and vendors.
• Conduct internal and extenral audits with impartiality, prepare reports, and ensure follow-up on corrective actions to maintain operational integrity.
• Ensure an independent quality assurance system is in place to monitor regulatory compliance and conformity to company standards.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate quality and safety risks, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
• Escalate identified high/very hish enterprise risk attibutabel to company operations to the Quality & Safety Manager.

Safety Management System & Accident/Incident Investigation

• Support in the operation of the SMS within the company.
• Prepare safety-related documentation, including safety reports, hazards identification and risk assesment worksheets, safety perfromance indicators and SMS internal audit reports.
• Perform safety risks assessment using means prescribed in the compay's SMS manual.
• Conducts investigations of incidents, accidents and non conformities, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive initiatives.

Qualification, Authorization and Staff Development

• Facilitate issuance, renewal and cancellation of certifying staff and support staff authroizations/s, maintaining compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Delivery of Quality and Safety related training.
• Conduct and document competency assessments for certifying staff and support satff (as applicable)

Continuous Improvement & Organizational Development

• Contribute in process improvements to optimize operational activities
• Simplify processess while maintaining compliance and performance excellence

Professional Skills:

• BS in Engineering, Aviaton Management or equivalent
• PRC/CAAP AMT license holder preferred
• At least 2 years solid experience in Quality Assurance and Safety Management
