Farmesa Asia Pacific Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Management Officer, who will be primarily responsible for (i) carrying out and implementing the Food Safety Management System and standards followed by the Company, and (ii) being the lead appointed member of the Internal Food Safety Audit Team of our manufacturing facility in the Philippines.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Quality Management Officer include:

• Proactively assist and contribute with the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead with the liaising with other department for proper implementation of QMS.
• Being responsible for the development and maintenance of internal audit schedule.
• Contributing with keeping GMP and food safety standards compliance in the plant.
• Participating in the investigation of quality-related issues and deviations, helping with the execution and monitoring of CAPA, ensuring that compliance is achieved and kept.
• Gathering, compiling, filing and analysis of different program data documents such as incident report, satisfaction surveys etc.
• Being the PCO appointed person, responsible of the environmental compliance of the plant.

Qualitifications

• The candidate MUST possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any food-related technical courses
• Technically equipped with HACCP, FSSC v6 and other food safety requirements
• The candidate MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Management Officer in a Food Manufacturing set-up.
• Knowledgeable with quality standards, government regulations, safety procedures and hazards control.
• Have attended series of food safety trainings related to FSSC v6, HACCP, GMP, Sanitation and Pest control.
• The candidate must possess good leadership skills, time management, planning and detail-oriented and must be fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Preferably residing in Malvar Batangas or nearby cities. Must be amenable to work and report in our plant in Malvar, Batangas, from 8 am to 5 pm.
