The QA/Tester will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and documenting defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

The QA/Tester will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and documenting defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Execute building and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts with attention to detail of business requirements/user stories specifications to help ensure the quality of applications.
- Maintain detailed test cases based on predefined test scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Thoroughly investigate and analyze issues to find root causes as well as communicate issues and escalate if needed by understanding the bigger picture, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide reporting on blocking issues, testing results, and quality status to the development team, and facilitate discussion around corresponding risk areas.
- Write clear and concise steps to reproduce issues in a bug report.
- Apply familiarity with features to uncover issues and inefficiencies.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Technical software or troubleshooting skills (degree in Computer Science or equivalent, self-taught, or relevant experience).
- Experience testing software and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle and how testing applies.
- Able to analyze detected trends and identify coverage gaps and provide feedback to prevent them going forward.
- Any degree of scripting or knowledge of programming skills like C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
