Description & Requirements

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
• Create detailed, well-structured test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Log, track, and manage defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications meet performance standards.
• Generate and present test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and team members.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in testing.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Experience in developing and maintaining Cypress TypeScript automation suites.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in performance/load testing using JMeter.
• Experience in API testing with Postman.
• Proficiency in test case design and execution.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Excellent ability to analyze complex data and business processes, identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail to identify even the smallest defects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
• Understanding of the specific domain or industry in which the software is being developed.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior testers, providing guidance and support.
