Your Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for software applications.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures.
• Prepare and present detailed test reports.
• Maintain and improve CI flows and automation framework
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Advanced programming skills, including experience with automation systems and databases.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language specially Typescript (e.g., Typescript, Java, Python, VBScript, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools specially Playwright (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Katalon Studio, Cucumber).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage project deadlines
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar certification is advantageous
