What You’ll Be Doing

As QA Automation Engineer, you'll get to work with our small but talented testing team as they work on exciting client projects and billable work. As an in-house thought leader in testing, you'll be the go-to person for elevating our testing culture and play a key role in shaping how we work as a team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance IONA's testing culture: Lead the effort to elevate our testing approach, making it a cornerstone of our project excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests: Create and maintain automated test scripts for our built applications.
  • Manage test frameworks and tools: Set up and maintain automation test frameworks using the best technologies.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and professional growth: Share your expertise to build a culture of constant learning and professional growth.

Who We’re Looking For

If these characteristics resonate with you, then IONA could be the perfect place for you

  • You have +5 years in testing — This includes automation, manual, performance, security, and usability testing.
  • You’ve worked in an agency or e-commerce environment — While this isn't necessary, it's a huge plus.
  • You’re known for strong analytical skills and an eye for detail — You love using your problem-solving mindset to solve tricky challenges.
  • Experience leading testing teams, defining testing strategies, and implementing best practices — You're passionate about continuous learning and helping others do their best work.
  • You’re proficient in test management software and QA methodologies.
  • You're a technology buff — Staying updated with industry trends and technologies is part of your routine. We have used Jest, Cypress, Robot Framework and Selenium for automated testing, but we are open to new tools.
  • You have an international mindset — You're comfortable and enthusiastic about being part of an international team.
  • Strong communication skills — You're fluent in English and capable of communicating complex ideas clearly.

Preferably located in the Philippines.
