Responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end web developers do. The primary focus will be the backend development and will have to think outside the box to deliver the best user experience.
The Salary Range: 45,000 - 55,000

The Salary Range: 45,000 - 55,000
The Work Set-Up:
- Work onsite
- 8 hour work shift
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift (6am-3 pm)
- 13th Month Pay

- Design, code, test, debug, and document mid-tier and data-tier services based on technical requirements developed by analysts and project teams
- Develop data schemas to meet technical configurations, ensuring that resulting systems will operate efficiently and reliably
- Test and debug programs to finalize and ensure smooth operation, leveraging automation where applicable
- Document program design, coding, and other details to guide others in application development, use, and maintenance
- Support, update, and maintain existing systems in response to business needs, system problems, or other factors
- Coordinate with project teams to design, code, test, and document system changes identify business needs, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions
- Set up the server environment using Node.js and Express
- Design and implement the API for front-end communication
- Manage the PostgreSQL database, including schema design and queries
- Implement authentication and authorization for secure access
- Ensure data validation and error handling
- Graduate of BS in Information Technology or related
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in JavaScript (or TypeScript) for back-end development with Node.js
- Experience with Express.js for building APIs
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, including database design, complex queries, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with authentication strategies (e.g., JWT) and security best practices
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with the front-end developer
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
