Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python
  • Implement small to medium-sized features as part of a cross-functional team
  • Write tests
  • Fix bugs
  • Debug issues
  • Work with relational databases and migrations
  • Review code and participate in shipping changes to production
  • Collaborate with other teams on integrations and shared components
  • Contribute to areas like infrastructure, CI/CD and internal service architecture
  • Bring your own ideas and help us grow into Fintech #1 in Southeast Asia



Requirements:


Required

  • 1–2 years of production experience in Python backend development
  • Solid understanding of Python fundamentals (functions, classes, typing, testing)
  • Basic knowledge of concurrency models in Python (asyncio, threading, multiprocessing)
  • Familiarity with Docker and Git
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries


Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with event-driven systems (e.g. Kafka)
  • Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g. Redis, MongoDB)
  • Exposure to CI/CD workflows and testing automation
  • Experience working on production systems (even as part of a team)
