Main Duties

  • Identifying and Resolving Issues – Addressing problems with incorrect, defective, or delayed purchased parts.
  • Supplier Dispute Resolution – Communicating with supplier to resolve discrepancies in orders, damaged goods, or warranty claims.
  • Emergency Procurement – Finding alternative sources when there are shortages, backorders, or urgent needs.
  • Cost Recovery & Returns – Help in managing returns, refunds, or credits for faulty or incorrect parts.
  • Supply Chain Troubleshooting – Assist in identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the parts supply process.
  • Inventory Verification – verifying if replacement parts are stocked and available before buying it.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Engineering or a related field (preferred but not always required).
  • Skills and Knowledge
  • Experience in construction or fleet parts’ purchasing (typically 1+ year)
  • Background in supplier negotiation and understanding of construction materials, vehicle parts and/or components
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple supplier and requests
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in ordering and inventory tracking
  • Problem-solving skills to handle supply chain issues and urgent parts or materials needed
  • Must be willing to stay-in with free staff house provided
