Purchasing Analyst

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Business or Office related course
• With good scholastic records
• Preferably with experience as buyer
• With knowledge in micro ingredients
• Familiar in Contract execution

Job Description:

• Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statement and core values of the company.
• Sources out prospective regular and alternative suppliers for required administrative and production equipment, materials and supplies; evaluates suppliers and conducts background investigation including supplier audits on business establishments before their accreditation as a regular supplier to the company.
• Conducts regular supplier audit to ensure quality of products and services being delivered to the company or for purposes of re-accreditation.
• Maintains and updates the master list of accredited suppliers.
• Receives and evaluates requisitions for supplies and materials with the accompanying specifications and initial canvass sheets from originating departments and undertakes the processing of requests until actual purchase and delivery.
• Undertakes documentation related to importation of supplies and materials; liaises with banks, brokerage firms, shipping lines and government regulatory agencies to ensure smooth flow of procurement activities.
• Prepares and submits reports on procurement activities undertaken, specifically on volumes of transactions, savings generated, returns and replacements, problems encountered and remedial action taken, etc.
• Undertakes maintenance of files of purchasing documents.
