The ideal Full-time Purchasing Administrative Assistant is detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in managing supply chain or administrative tasks within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage material transactions, purchase orders, and inventory levels. The candidate should be comfortable updating records, communicating with vendors via email, and generating regular reports. They must be able to work independently, take ownership of their tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting while collaborating effectively with other departments when needed.

Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders for consumable materials
- Handle manual data input for material transactions related to the repairs team
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Update price matrices based on new vendor quotes
- Maintain purchasing parameters (min., max., safety stock) monthly
- Run material planning for purchase orders and new sales orders
- Enter and process inter-branch transfers for intra-company purchase orders
- Clean up open blanket purchase orders monthly
- Generate weekly and monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with the company’s quality system
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1–2 years of experience in an office, clerical, or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
- Experience in supply chain, sourcing, or planning is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems; knowledge of Infor Visual Manufacturing is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Rate: $6.20/hour
