What's on the menu for you to do?
- Help develop foodpanda’s internal public policy strategy and programmes on topics relating to the tech and food delivery sector, including but not limited to employment, gig work, sustainability, competition, as well as consumer & data protection
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement foodpanda’s policy stance and programmes
- Help build foodpanda’s stakeholder network within the public sector, academia, professional associations, NGOs, and more, both at the central and local levels (travel to provinces, regional company offices, and other key locations are required)
- Communicate and advocate for foodpanda’s policy positions by (a) drafting position papers on proposed legislation, (b) responding to concerns from government stakeholders, (c) developing policy communications materials in consultation with key internal stakeholders such as PR/communications, legal and operations; and (d) where needed, represent foodpanda at government meetings/Congressional hearings
- Contribute to foodpanda’s efforts in uplifting riders, vendors, and our communities through relevant initiatives
- Identify and pursue partnerships with government agencies, key opinion leaders, or credible organizations to build thought leadership
- Drive the implementation of these initiatives and programmes, and track and review the effectiveness of the same
