Position Summary

The Provision Agent I provide transactional support for the Provision Agent II. Initializes order submittal review for Fleet Services. The incumbent’s primary function is to manage and release out the purchase orders for food, beverage and hotel items for their assigned vessels.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate incoming purchase orders.
  • Verify item restrictions and exceptions for purchase order deliveries.
  • Submit orders within 24hrs of receipt.
  • Provide appropriate reports that reflect accuracy of orders released.
  • Assists with order confirmation and invoice process.
  • Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Prepares submitted request with the accurate delivery instructions according to its provision details management.

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills

  • 0-1 year experience in procurement is necessary to perform this job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
