Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of architectural and engineering projects.
  • Monitor operational performance and make data-driven decisions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to architectural and engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, including architects, engineers, and administrative staff.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive team engagement and productivity.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operational activities and projects, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize project efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to track budget performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded through effective communication and delivery of high quality services.
  • Address and resolve client concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in architectural and engineering practices.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements and innovation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement and maintain competitive advantages

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master's degree or advanced certifications or relevant industry-specific credentials are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in operations management within the architectural and engineering sectors. Experience in Business Process Outsourcing Industry is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in overseeing complex projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving operational efficiencies is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, practices, standards, and industry regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a strong ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and managing a diverse team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience in budget development, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to navigate and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
