Job Description

As a Project Manager, Sourcing, you'll lead global sourcing initiatives-developing strategies for cost savings, re-sourcing, and new product launches. You'll collaborate across teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the seamless execution of sourcing projects that support global business growth.

The Qualifications We Seek

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
  
  

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, or a combination of 5+ years in Sourcing and Supply Chain
  
  

Other Required Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving significant cost-saving results
• Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Applied knowledge of supply chain concepts including logistics, planning, inventory management, sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and vendor relationships
• Experience operating within and extracting data from ERP systems
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with FDA-regulated medical devices
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite and/or Microsoft Dynamics

Your Daily Tasks

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing projects and cross-functional global teams by coordinating with procurement, engineering, marketing, packaging, and finance teams to ensure projects are on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop sourcing strategies to identify new material vendors for manufactured products as needed.
• Create, maintain, and execute sourcing project plans successfully.
• Track and report project progress, milestones, and savings on a monthly basis.
• Present project plans and updates to the project team and leadership regularly.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for use in meetings with the project team and leadership.
• Calculate supply chain costs, including freight, duties, overhead, and labor.
• Maintain and manage project costs and present cost results during leadership meetings.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal correspondence with external providers and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve product, supply, or supplier issues, including identifying new vendors when necessary.
• Prepare miscellaneous reports, analyses, and project documentation as required.

• Provide committed timing on ad hoc requests within 2 business days (100% target).
• Complete ad hoc requests within committed timing (90% target).
• Submit weekly project status reports (100% target).
• Update sourcing project plans with milestones and financials monthly (100% target).
• Update the Project Prioritization Committee (PPC) capacity report monthly (100% target).
• Deliver 90% of projects on time.
• Maintain the total project portfolio within committed financial targets (90% target).
• Adhere to all internal standards and policies (100% target).
