About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in primarily in the office in Angeles City, Pampanga. In this key role, you will be responsible for creating accurate quotes and material take-offs based on architectural drawings and customer specifications. You’ll ensure all quotes are entered into Business Central accurately and in line with project requirements, working closely with the Senior Estimator and other team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.

Primary Purpose of Position & Key Responsibilities

Quoting & Take-Offs: Complete quotes and material take-offs from architectural and customer drawings, entering these into Business Central after project qualification.

• Cost Accuracy: Ensure accurate costs are secured and applied during the quoting process, and that all pricing is approved before sending to customers.
• Documentation & Specifications: Document product specifications properly per project, ensuring that any exclusions are clearly communicated.
• Order Feasibility: Ensure that orders entered into the system are achievable within Criterion’s capacity and lead times.
• Product Development: Work with customers to develop product solutions that meet their requirements.
• Collaboration: Liaise with the Senior Estimator, team members, and the drafting department to ensure projects are accurately estimated and delivered on time.
• Statewide Projects: Provide quoting support for projects from other states when required.

Other Responsibilities

• Training & Teamwork: Be available to train new staff as needed and ensure positive, productive relationships within the team.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety and company policies, ensuring they are implemented by the team.
• Meeting Deadlines: Respect agreed due dates and contribute positively to team meetings with a solution-focused approach.

Requirements


To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Experience with Drawings: Familiarity with reading architectural drawings and customer specifications.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all quotes are accurate and complete.
• Communication Skills: Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Excel, Business Central (or similar), and ERP systems for generating quotes and take-offs.

Preferred Experience

• Estimating Software: Experience with Planswift, Logical, or similar estimating software.
• CAD Programs: Experience with CAD or similar programs for creating drawings.
