Project Engineer - (Registered Civil Engineer)

Job Description

We are hiring an engineer, flexible for office and site-based locations, to design and implement industrial, commercial, and domestic civil works set-up and systems. To do well in this role you should be a PRC Registered Civil Engineer and have at least 2 years of experience as an engineer in the field. Fresh graduate with PRC licensed is welcome.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, and supervising site civil works.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment, when required.
• Conferring with clients, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to applicable engineering standards and customer requirements by preparing civil work/construction specifications and technical drawings, when required.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing detailed calculations, when required.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, national and municipality building/civil codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential civil engineering projects/construction and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of construction equipment and materials.
• Supervising assigned project team members.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining construction equipment.
• Working with a variety of technicians.

Civil Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Licensed and Registered Civil Engineer. (PRC license must be valid.)
• Experience in using or a desire to learn the required related software and tools.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to civil engineering.
• Valid Philippine driving license. Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Good English communication skills.
• Flexible for office (Lipa City, Batangas) and site-based (nationwide) locations.
