Within our Global Business Services team, Etio delivers high-impact programmes across the UK, US, and Middle East. We’re now hiring a skilled Project Accountant to join us in Pasay and provide financial leadership across a portfolio of global projects.
This role is internally called: Business Project Controller.
Location: Pasay, Hybrid setup (some in-office presence required)

The Role
You’ll take ownership of the project financials — from budgeting and forecasting to revenue recognition and stakeholder reporting. You’ll act as a business partner to global teams and help drive financial clarity, accuracy, and insight.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage financials for multiple projects – including journals, accruals, and cost tracking
- Oversee revenue recognition and billing compliance based on contracts
- Build trackers and dashboards to monitor performance against forecast and budget
- Lead financial reviews and provide monthly reports with variance commentary
- Partner with business leads and present financials to non-finance stakeholders
- Support audits, improve processes, and contribute to system updates
- Help model finances for new project proposals
The skills you’ll need:
- At least 8 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, ideally in a shared services or multinational setup
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Kimble/Kantata)
- Solid background in project or contract accounting
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours across global time zones
It would be great if you had:
- CPA qualification (not required, but a plus)
- Experience supporting large government contracts or project finance in education, tech, or consulting
