The Project Control Officer supports the project team and/or Project Management Office (PMO) by tracking and producing reports on key project initiatives such as project plans, financials, change requests, deliverables, risks, and issues.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Timely preparation and analysis of reports, presenting results with meaningful and accurate commentary to project/client contacts.
- Propose improvements to supporting analyses to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills – the position requires coordination across stakeholders.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment – the role will require a variety of undefined activities to be performed from time to time, and the candidate should be able to adapt accordingly.
- Ability to manage ambiguous situations – if asked to perform tasks outside normal defined activities, the candidate should be able to do so without hesitation.
- Implementing and maintaining data controls, ensuring processes are aligned with onshore requirements.
- Attend process-related meetings with Business Units and onshore counterparts and conduct cross-functional training as necessary.
- Prepare other administrative reports and perform additional tasks as required by the Operational Lead and Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in any field, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Expertise in MS Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Action-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of requests, issues, and escalations, and deliver effective resolutions to customers.
- Customer-oriented (know your customers well and add value with a sense of urgency).
- Strong work ethics and flexibility to meet dynamic business needs.
- A sense of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility.
- A motivated self-starter who takes initiative to resolve issues.
- Proficient in following and writing process documentation.
- Willingness to grow with the project/CGI.
