Production Planner

Production Planner

Creates moderately complex production schedules. Reviews current production schedules that support the manufacturing process. Creates, tracks, and reports on the current production schedules.

About The Job

• Plans and prepares the production schedule for manufacturing. Analyzes moderately complex production specifications and plant capacity to provide inputs that determine processes, tools, materials, and labor requirements.
• Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the production planning team. Recommendations may be shared with the business.
• Tracks changes to production schedule to monitor if production schedules are meeting set goals.
• Collects data/inputs needed to create the production schedules.

About You

• Bachelor's or university degree
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing and manufacturing cost analysis
• Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
