Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to Manage and Supervise the Fiber Tail Assembly and Modules Production to provide world-class Safety, Quality, Delivery and Service to Customers
  • Organize all Production Operations to ensure that Output Productivity targets are achieved and that all relevant Health, Safety and Hygiene Standards are observed
  • Direct and control all Operations Staff to ensure they are properly motivated, trained and developed, and carry-out their responsibilities to the required standards
  • Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment are effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with internal customers, support groups and peers to ensure cross functional engagement to Production targets and a harmonious relationship within the plant
  • Drives and Take Lead in resolving Operational issues and resolve permanently
  • Develop and Maintain 5S+ in the shop floor
  • Monitor and Control Operating Cost ensure will not exceed budget profit plan or better
  • Responsible for Team members performance improvement and career development
  • To ensure compliance to ISO9001 and 14001 system and procedures
  • Optimize WIP Inventory for FG and Materials to meet target Inventory Turns

Education And Experience

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering, post graduate academic studies in Operations Management a plus
  • Hands-on knowledge and usage of Statistical Tools, experience in Six Sigma an asset

Skills

  • Hands-on Management and Supervision, prefer with a Manager of Manager (MOM) capacity
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal skills and Leadership competencies (leveraging Resources, Vision and Purpose, Strategic Thinking, Accountability)
  • Ability to engage and influence executive leadership
  • Minimum 10 years in Supervisory experience, 3 years of which as a Manager capacity
  • Technically proficient with string problem solving and creativity skills

Working Conditions

  • This role is 100% on-site
  • Required to extend beyond the regular office hours and including weekends and holidays as needed.
