Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership:

  • Direct and coordinate daily operations across the Central Kitchen, Coffee & Tea, and Agriculture departments to ensure productivity and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders without compromising quality or safety standards.

2. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, Marketing, and Logistics to launch new products, improve current offerings, and align production with market demands.
  • Partner with the Agriculture department to ensure sustainable practices are followed and integrated into production, particularly regarding farm-to-table and farm-to-cup processes.

3. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Design and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain consistency across all product lines, from the field to final packaging.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement, initiating corrective actions to optimize production.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, food safety regulations, and environmental regulations.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and train production teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement training programs for staff to enhance skills and ensure a thorough understanding of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage labor and equipment resources to meet fluctuating production demands while controlling costs.

5. Financial Oversight:

  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring all production operations stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Drive cost reduction strategies while enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Develop financial reports on production costs, identifying key areas for savings and profitability.

6. Sustainability & Innovation:

  • Spearhead sustainability initiatives within the Coffee & Tea and Agriculture departments, including waste reduction, water conservation, and energy efficiency.
  • Explore and implement new technologies or methodologies in agriculture, coffee roasting, and food production that can enhance overall product quality and reduce environmental impact.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of production management experience in the food, beverage, or agricultural industries, with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations.
  • Strong background in food manufacturing, particularly in managing kitchens, coffee roasting, or agriculture production.
  • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, or similar efficiency and quality control methodologies is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of food production processes, agricultural supply chains, and modern coffee & tea production techniques.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, inventory management systems, and data-driven decision-making tools.
  • Strong understanding of HALAL, HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other food safety and quality standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work closely with executive leadership, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make swift decisions under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
  • Passion for sustainability and experience in managing environmentally friendly production processes is an asset.
  • Knowledge of organic farming practices and sustainable agriculture techniques is highly beneficial.
