JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages day-to-day operations of the PE (Production Engineering) Division/ Section
  • Ensure that the activities of (Production Engineering) Division are aligned with the company’s mission and vision.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering division in alignment with overall organizational objectives.
  • Assist immediate head in analyzing existing production engineering processes, recommending improvements, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommends new concepts, projects, and procedures to top management for the improvement of the PE (Production Engineering) Division / Section.
  • Collaborate with various suppliers for significant projects within Division / Section.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
  • Provides reports to top management regarding assigned engineering activities.
  • Support top management in data analysis for the results of other support groups KPI.
  • Implement, monitor, and report updates to top management for management-mandated activities related to efficiency improvement and increase productivity.
  • Develop activities for enhancing the skills of PE Personnel, Project development, and control mgmt.
  • Identify potential risks associated with engineering projects and implement strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree of any Engineering course; a license Engineer or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP (Project Management Professional), or specific industry-related certifications can be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge on Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 13485)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Possess good technical skills in a manufacturing company
  • Must possess good organizational, time management skills and leadership skill with the ability to delegate, organize and manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company
