The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing all sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure Dermorepubliq secures quality materials, goods, and services at the best value while meeting operational requirements. This role develops and implements procurement strategies, manages supplier relationships, ensures compliance with company policies, and drives cost efficiencies. The Procurement Manager also supports the Finance Department in budget planning and ensures all procurement processes align with regulatory standards and company objectives.

Job Summary

This role develops and implements procurement strategies, manages supplier relationships, ensures compliance with company policies, and drives cost efficiencies. The Procurement Manager also supports the Finance Department in budget planning and ensures all procurement processes align with regulatory standards and company objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic & Operational Procurement Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and services.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes from purchase request to purchase order, vendor management, and invoicing.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to achieve favorable terms, cost savings, and service quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers to build a reliable and competitive vendor network.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and resolve disputes or delivery issues.
- Establish long-term partnerships to secure supply stability and competitive pricing.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
- Monitor and improve procurement workflows using Bill.com and other tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, vendor accreditation, and inventory monitoring.
- Supervise and mentor procurement staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with Finance, Production, and Quality teams to forecast demand and align purchasing plans.
- Lead initiatives to optimize cost, reduce waste, and streamline supply chain operations.
- Prepare procurement reports for management, including cost analyses and supplier performance metrics.
- Support internal and external audits related to procurement activities.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG, cosmetics, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, procurement software and cost management.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor sourcing, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in procurement and ERP tools (Bill.com, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Analytical skills for cost analysis and demand forecasting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 kilograms.
- Can stand, walk, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Able to work in different weather conditions and adapt to the physical demands of both warehouse and delivery settings.
