The Procurement Management Expert is tasked to complete a variety of procurement activities and work on projects simultaneously. Supports collaborative cross-functional teams by analyzing spend and developing actionable sourcing strategies; implements these strategies and proactively manages the supply base within a given commodity.

Job Description
The Procurement Management Expert is tasked to complete a variety of procurement activities and work on projects simultaneously. Supports collaborative cross-functional teams by analyzing spend and developing actionable sourcing strategies; implements these strategies and proactively manages the supply base within a given commodity.
Description Of Roles & Responsibilities
Pre-PR / PR
- Assist Proponents on Procurement requirements.
- Upon receipt of PR, convenes a meeting with Proponent and Legal (if needed) to: better understand the requirement and agree on Sourcing framework/content, evaluation criteria and contract to use
- Agree on sourcing strategy and work plan
- Provide guidance to proponent on RFP development
- Work with Proponent to identify commercial requirements and operational risk exposures
- Agree with Proponent on the list of Bidders to be invited.
- Spearheads pre-bid conference with Bidders and proponent; discuss commercial portion
- Initiates Bid Opening activities and endorse technical portion to Proponent for evaluation
- Buyer leads the commercial clarification and negotiation process.
- Provide Legal with Vendor’s response to Contract SOC for evaluation for preferred Vendor/s.
- Both Proponent and Buyer shall integrate the result of the technical and commercial clarification/evaluation process to come up with a joint recommendation
- Endorse Bid Awarding Checklist to the Bid Decision Committee
- Prepare commercial annexes and sign-off final version, if applicable
- Prepare and issue PO within agreed SLA
