  • Monitor and respond to privacy review requests received through the Privacy Office mailbox, acting as the single point of contact.
  • Review requests to identify impacted Segments and territories, deploying Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to initiative representatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with Segment Privacy teams to establish clear engagement guidelines and interface with the Asia team to manage initiative risks.
  • Evaluate completed PIAs, identifying and addressing missing or inconsistent information, and challenge responses to ensure privacy risks are managed effectively.
  • Follow up with initiative representatives and Segment Privacy teams to ensure timely completion of PIAs and escalate privacy risks when necessary.
  • Share insights and trends with stakeholders to support process enhancements and work with the Privacy team to incorporate findings into communications and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in privacy impact assessments, data protection, or a related privacy or compliance role.
  • Strong understanding of global privacy regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws and frameworks. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex privacy issues and identify potential risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex privacy concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and analyzing privacy-related documentation.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and business units, to address privacy concerns.
  • Familiarity with privacy management tools and applications for tracking and reporting privacy assessments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
