This role is responsible for overseeing the processes of risk management and pricing strategy. The role involves assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and developing pricing models that maximize profitability while remaining competitive and providing analytical support to the Commercial Finance Business Partner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Management, or any 4-year related course Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration, an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quantitative and strategic role, preferably in the power industry or in similar business environments
  • Knowledge of power industry market dynamics and operations (generation, transmission, distribution, RES supply)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SAS).
  • Knowledge of power industry laws, rules, and regulations (generation, transmission, distribution)
  • Knowledge of Power Supply Agreements and RES Supply Contracts
  • Knowledge of commodity market and foreign exchange market dynamics
  • Knowledge of price structures in electricity markets of other countries
  • Knowledge of hedging products
