Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the airline on matters relating to powerplant assets including AAOG support, troubleshooting recommendations, practical training, and guidance
- Evaluate airworthiness directives and service bulletins and other recommendations for applicability and incorporation within the fleet taking into consideration both operational and commercial impact
- Define and maintain strategic removal plans for all assets, identifying peaks and troughs in shop loading and the need to support with owned as well as leased assets as appropriate
- Define workscopes for powerplant assets taking into account reason for removal, build to achieve life and budget constraints
- Must be a college graduate with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or other engineering-related course.
- Preferably has more than six (6) years of work-related experience
- Preferably has a PRC or Aeronautical Engineering license
- Preferably has an experience handling aircraft engines
