Job Description
As Laboratory Technician, this person is responsible in performing chemical analysis as prescribed in the Work Instruction Manual and operate laboratory equipment according to the Equipment’s Operation Manual. This person is responsible to monitor trend of analysis and report any deviation to the Laboratory Supervisor.

As Laboratory Technician, this person is responsible in performing chemical analysis as prescribed in the Work Instruction Manual and operate laboratory equipment according to the Equipment’s Operation Manual. This person is responsible to monitor trend of analysis and report any deviation to the Laboratory Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to EOL Process Supervisor
- Performs wet chemical analysis and inputs data in monitoring log sheets/CAMSTAR.
- Ensures laboratory results are properly stored and effectively communicated to production line.
- Conducts sampling of preclean and plating chemicals.
- Prepares standards and reagents used for wet lab analysis.
- Operates laboratory equipment and machines such as pH meter, digital balance and weighing scales, etc.
- Performs laboratory housekeeping.
- Ensures safety protocols are observed during analysis.
- Prepares engineering samples.
Education
- Must be either graduate in the field of BS in Chemistry, BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Registered/Licensed Chemical Technician.
- Experience in laboratory operation is an advantage, but fresh graduate may qualify.
- Solid foundation on titration analysis.
- Basic knowledge on spectrophotometry.
- Proficient on laboratory safety procedures.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Can work with minimum supervision.
- Flexible and can do multi-tasking job.
- With good moral character.
- Must be a good team player.
- Willing to work in shifting and weekend schedule.
