Planner/Scheduler

WE ARE HIRING FOR A 5-MONTH PROJECT-BASED PLANNER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
• At least 5 years’ proven experience in Project Planning/Scheduling for medium to large construction/demolition projects
• Strong understanding of PEFS, ISO drawings and/or electrical SLD;
• Working knowledge of demolition safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Focal point for planning and scheduling of activities for Tabangao Demolition Project
   • In charge of integration and maintenance of overall project schedule.
   • Evaluate and review planningand scheduling activities with Implementing Contractor for Demolition Project and challenging contractor’s proposed schedule to ensure alignment with Project and Client expectations.
   • Keeps in view schedule relationships with other work streams and secures internal schedule alignment.
   • Manages demolition project interfaces with other work streams on site (other projects, operations, maintenance, etc.) in all matters relating to project schedule
   • Review and verify weekly progress report submitted by contractors.
   • Responsible for updating the team on the weekly progress, highlighting areas of concerns and suggesting ways forward to mitigate delays.
   • Provides weekly look-ahead of simultaneous operations (simops) and synergy with other work streams
   • Provides weekly update to SHIFT/Operation for completed, ongoing and lookahead activities.
   • Prepares Monthly Project Progress Report
2. Update Value of Work Done (VOWD) in GSAP.
3. Support Project MOC Process. Undertake impact assessment for schedule and cost in Project changes. Provides high level schedule and cost impact on the change.
4. Supports Project HSSE performance targets by conducting LOD1 reviews and submitting NMPI reports.
5. Assists in project services deliverables in schedule and cost.
6. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.
7. From time to time and with prior concurrence from Client, may support other projects in SHIFT to perform similar functions as listed above.
