Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to increase our client base. You will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Opportunities: Research and analyze market trends to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively source and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
  • Presentation and Negotiation: Present Hire Scout's services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts to ensure a win-win outcome.
  • Sales Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, provide regular reports on progress, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to enhance our service offerings.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport and trust with potential clients.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with proficiency in maintaining accurate records in a CRM system.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Resilient and able to handle objections and setbacks with professionalism and tenacity.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt strategies based on client needs and market conditions.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or lead generation, ideally in staffing or recruiting.
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, and digital prospecting platforms.
  • Understanding of customer profiling and experience with account-based marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adapt approaches as needed.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and skilled at handling rejection with professionalism.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.


WFH Set-up Requirements:

  • A computer equipped with a minimum of 8GB RAM and an Intel i5/AMD
  • Ryzen 5 processor or running macOS Ventura or later.
  • A wired internet connection with at least 50 Mbps speed, along with a backup internet option.
  • A functional noise-canceling headset.
  • A high-quality camera for virtual calls.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in closing sales (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with onboarding clients
  • Ability to create email templates.
  • Experience working with US-based clients in offshore staffing.
  • Familiarity with complex B2B sales processes in staffing/recruiting.
  • Knowledge of offshore hiring trends and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous startup experience.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Monthly qualified opportunities generated.
  • Conversion rate from prospect to active client.
  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
