As a GenAI Product Manager, you will be able to:
- Design and deliver end-to-end GenAI solutions: You will need to understand client business challenges, identify opportunities for GenAI applications, and architect comprehensive solutions that combine GenAI components with classical AI, software, and human workflows. Examples of work include gathering and structuring client requirements, designing GenAI product architecture, creating detailed prompt engineering specifications, developing evaluation frameworks, and building proof-of-concepts that demonstrate value. Your role is to provide the detailed blueprint and strategic direction, with our technical teams handling the actual implementation. Your designs will guide our engineering and delivery teams as they transform your vision into user-ready GenAI systems.
- Bridge technical and business stakeholders: GenAI product decisions require balancing business objectives with technical feasibility. You'll cultivate your stakeholder management skills by collaborating with business leaders who have ambitious goals, technical teams who understand implementation realities, and end users who need intuitive, valuable solutions. You'll translate between technical and non-technical language, helping all parties understand constraints, possibilities, and the path to success.
- Drive impact across diverse industries and use cases: We serve clients across enterprise, corporate, and SMEs, with applications spanning knowledge management, customer service, information extraction, and decision support. Past projects include developing custom RAG systems for financial institutions, designing translation apps for media companies, prototyping no-code assistants for ad creation, and delivering enablement workshops for professionals. You'll work with senior leaders across Southeast Asia and beyond, helping them implement GenAI solutions that transform their business.
- Shape our GenAI capabilities and methodologies: As GenAI rapidly evolves, our team continuously refines its approaches, tools, and frameworks. You will have significant opportunities to develop new methodologies for GenAI solution design, create reusable components that accelerate delivery, establish evaluation standards that ensure quality, and contribute to our growing library of best practices that benefit current and future projects.
Must Have Qualities We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical product management, AI implementation, software development, or related roles. Experience may come from full-time roles, side projects, internships, or organizational involvement. Fresh graduates with strong hands-on experience are also welcome to apply.
- Has contributed to the design and delivery of technical products or solutions (e.g. software applications, data products, AI systems)
- Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Streamlit, v0, Lovable) to create proof-of-concepts or prototypes
- Strong GenAI technical understanding: Proficiency in prompt engineering, knowledge of GenAI capabilities and limitations
- Software systems knowledge: Understanding of APIs, frontend/backend architecture, data flows, and integration approaches
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills: Can you conceptualize end-to-end solutions that combine GenAI with traditional software components? Can you identify opportunities where GenAI creates genuine business value vs. where traditional approaches might be more appropriate? You'll need to develop comprehensive solution architectures that address both technical feasibility and business requirements.
- Business acumen: You need a strong understanding of various business functions, processes, and metrics to effectively identify and prioritize GenAI opportunities that deliver measurable impact. You should be able to articulate the value proposition and ROI of GenAI solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptive communication skills: You'll need to tailor your communication approach based on audience, context, and project requirements. This means knowing when to simplify GenAI concepts for business stakeholders, when to provide detailed technical specifications for engineering teams, and when to focus on strategic value for executive leadership. You should be able to adjust the level of technical complexity in your communications based on the use case, budget constraints, stakeholder technical proficiency, and project phase.
- Quick learning agility: The GenAI field evolves rapidly, and you'll need to continuously learn new techniques, tools, and best practices. You're not expected to know everything, but we expect you to adapt quickly, experiment with new approaches, and apply learnings to solve client challenges.
- Strong ownership & accountability: GenAI product management requires proactive exploration, creative problem-solving, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. We want someone who is highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, hands-on attitude.
- Experience designing, building and shipping GenAI products or features in production environments or as prototypes
- Basic coding proficiency in Python or JavaScript
- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and techniques
- Background in UX/UI design for AI-powered interfaces
- Previous experience in consultative roles working with senior stakeholders
We Offer The Following Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary — the compensation amount is positively correlated with the difficulty of the job, relevant experience, fit, and skill factors.
- Hybrid Set-Up — Hybrid-remote means employees are required to come in an average of two days a week for client engagements and internal in-person days intended for collaboration, socials, and strategic planning.
- Individual professional development budget — an annual budget for conferences, training courses, books, and software is available to sharpen your skills and build new ones to help you grow in your role.
