Royal Caribbean Group’s Payroll Team has an exciting career opportunity for a project-based Payroll Analyst reporting to the Payroll Lead.

Position Summary

The Payroll Analyst will play a key role in end-to-end payroll processing in collaboration with HR, Accounting, Treasury, external payroll service provider, management, employees, and other stakeholders. The analyst will process and support payroll to ensure accuracy of salaries, HR and Payroll records, and compliance with rules & regulations, and will participate in special projects such as the implementation of new systems, upgrades, and integrations.

Payroll

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Philippine, India and Australia/New Zealand end-to-end payroll processing via external payroll service provider.
  • Validate the payroll details in SuccessFactors and Payroll systems and resolve any discrepancies as necessary.
  • Check and consolidate variable reports or time keeping details.
  • Perform payroll activities related to salary overpayment.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records, calendars, and reports.
  • Consolidate and update issues log which serve as reference for process improvements.
  • Assists in data gathering, reconciliation and documentation as required in relation to Payroll Project initiatives such as outsourcing of payroll services to new vendor including, but not limited to data migration, parallel testing, and coordination with HR/stakeholders and payroll vendor.

Compliance

  • Create and maintain up-to-date payroll process documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management is required.
  • With at least 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Knowledgeable in payroll and time keeping process.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and resolve complex, unique problems.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
  • Advanced to Expert Excel skills is a must (i.e. if, sumif, vlookup, hlookup for high volume data validations).
  • Trustworthy and with the highest degree of integrity.
