What You'll Do

As a Paralegal based in Quezon City, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be instrumental in supporting both routine operations and complex projects. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting detailed research into applicable laws and regulations that impact the business’s diverse interests across LPG distribution, fuels, lubricants, engineering services, and equipment supply. You will be responsible for drafting clear and concise legal documents while ensuring all paperwork meets regulatory standards. By collaborating closely with colleagues from different departments as well as external partners such as courts or government agencies, you will help facilitate smooth communication channels that are vital for successful outcomes. Your ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously will ensure that all deadlines are met without compromising quality or accuracy. In this role, your contributions will directly support the company’s mission of delivering reliable energy solutions while maintaining strict adherence to legal requirements.

• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and other relevant sources to support ongoing cases and business operations.
• Draft, review, and organise various legal documents including contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence with accuracy and precision.
• Assist in preparing materials for court proceedings such as pleadings, affidavits, exhibits, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information necessary for legal processes while maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
• Monitor deadlines for filings, hearings, and submissions to ensure timely completion of all legal tasks and compliance with procedural requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of legal files, case notes, and related documentation using effective filing systems for easy retrieval.
• Support lawyers in managing caseloads by tracking progress on active matters and following up on outstanding issues or requests.
• Communicate effectively with external parties such as government agencies, courts, clients, or vendors regarding legal inquiries or document submissions.
• Stay updated on changes in laws or regulations relevant to the energy sector to provide accurate guidance to stakeholders.

• Possess 1-2 years of experience working as a Paralegal within a corporate or law firm setting where you have demonstrated reliability in handling sensitive information.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or any related field; having completed law school units or being a law graduate is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of legal terminology along with familiarity with research techniques used for gathering statutory or case law information.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills which enable you to draft clear documents and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
• Showcase high attention to detail when reviewing documents or managing records so that errors are minimised throughout all stages of work.
