A day in a life...

The Packaging and Artwork Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of D2D Coordinators to deliver comprehensive end-to-end project management. This role involves collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to drive excellence in the Design to Delivery (D2D) process, ensuring that global standards are implemented and internal controls are maintained. The Supervisor will monitor operational efficiency, optimize team capacity, and lead recruitment efforts while fostering team development through coaching and performance evaluations. Additionally, the Supervisor will deploy D2D services in new markets by analyzing requirements and creating detailed business proposals.

• Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the D2D team, ensuring effective project management for assigned businesses, zones, and markets. Support design best practices and ensure compliance with the Design Excellence Standard.
• Operational Management: Manage the team's operational capacity, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to projects. Lead recruitment processes to ensure the team is staffed with skilled professionals to meet service demands.
• Performance Improvement: Drive action plans to address service delivery deviations and implement process improvements as necessary. Escalate issues that conflict with established procedures or brand guidelines.
• Project Execution: Ensure the team efficiently manages the collection and dissemination of required references and information through the D2D Workflow, achieving "Right First Time" outcomes. Oversee the management of Label Info Specifications and SAP Labelling Records.
• Team Development: Develop and nurture the D2D coordinators by managing team goals, defining personal development plans, providing coaching, and supporting career growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations and check-ins.
• Market Deployment: Manage the deployment of D2D services in new markets/businesses by analyzing market requirements and forecasting resource needs. Create comprehensive business proposals outlining service scope, objectives, resource needs, timelines, and expected benefits.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in agency or in-house roles managing the graphic chain of packaging design and/or artwork projects. At least 2 years of experience leading teams involved in packaging design project coordination.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Strong visual, written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of print production, color management, and digital workflows.
• Personal Attributes: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, demonstrate a customer-focused approach, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
