Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Java Backend Development. The primary focus of this role is to manage and optimize Oracle database environments, while also contributing to backend development tasks as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oracle Database Administration (Primary Role)

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database systems.

Monitor and tune database performance for optimal efficiency.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Ensure database security, access control, and compliance.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support database needs.

Java Backend Development (Secondary Role)

Support backend development using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and services.

Contribute to integration efforts between applications and databases.

Participate in code reviews and testing for backend components.

Provide development support for database-driven applications.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.

1–2 years of experience in Java backend development.

Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle performance tuning.

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
