About The Role
The Operations Associate will be responsible for creating and managing daily schedules for our drivers, ensuring that all deliveries and pickups for the following day are planned in the most time-efficient manner. This role requires balancing multiple factors such as delivery location, customer size, and priority. In addition to routing, the associate will handle light customer service, scheduling duties, and ad hoc tasks.

About The Role
The Operations Associate will be responsible for creating and managing daily schedules for our drivers, ensuring that all deliveries and pickups for the following day are planned in the most time-efficient manner. This role requires balancing multiple factors such as delivery location, customer size, and priority. In addition to routing, the associate will handle light customer service, scheduling duties, and ad hoc tasks.
Duties And Responsibilities
Routing & Scheduling
- Organize and schedule 20-30 deliveries each day, optimizing routes for efficiency while considering customer size, importance, and other logistical factors.
- Ensure that drivers’ schedules are clear and make adjustments if needed due to delays, traffic, or changes in customer needs.
- Handle basic inquiries from customers regarding deliveries, pickups, and other service-related issues.
- Assist in managing appointments and maintaining an updated schedule for deliveries, pickups, and dumpster maintenance.
- Act as the primary point of contact between drivers and the operations team for resolving any scheduling or logistical challenges.
- Provide support for various administrative duties to assist with smooth operational flow.
- Experience in a similar dispatch, logistics, or customer service role (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with routing software or a willingness to learn
- Availability to work evening shifts (aligned with U.S. business hours)
- -Background in logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Experience in the waste management or dumpster rental industry is a plus
- Full-time position, with the possibility of weekend work as needed
