What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- 10+ years of experience working in operations in an environment that handles large volumes of transactions such as banking, payments, fintech, crypto or e-commerce.
- At the very least an interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain, very beneficial if you have worked in this sector.
- Beneficial if you have worked in a 24/7 operational environment previously.
- Proficient in investigating and resolving payment and other operational issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and identify insights.
- Capable of designing business rules and logic that will optimise operational performance.
- Strong communication skills, specifically in the context of informing management of business performance and training support teams.
- Transaction management - monitoring transactions in real-time to identify failed transactions and troubleshooting solutions.
- Escalation management - reviewing escalations from level one support agents to resolve transaction failures.
- System optimisation: re-design of transaction routing logic and workflows as well as re-configuration of systems to optimise transaction performance.
- Projects - participate in projects related to fiat payments and cryptocurrency transactions.
- Education and training - producing process documentation and using this to train level one support on how to handle transaction failures.
- Stakeholder communication - updating stakeholders on current transaction performance, issues and opportunities
