As an Operations Manager, Payment and Settlement you will be at the heart of ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning of all fiat wallet services. Your role will involve not only supervising transactional workflows but also taking ownership of the entire transaction lifecycle—from initial processing through reconciliation—across multiple banking partners. You will be responsible for monitoring live transaction data to quickly address any issues that arise while guiding your team towards achieving operational excellence. By analysing performance metrics each week you will identify areas for improvement that directly impact customer experience. Working hand-in-hand with product managers, engineers, compliance officers, and finance professionals you will help shape automated systems that keep processes efficient yet fully auditable. Your ability to maintain strong relationships with external partners ensures that any challenges are resolved swiftly. Additionally you will play a crucial part in preparing for new product launches or partnerships by ensuring all operational aspects are ready for success.

- Oversee the daily operations of fiat wallet services including cash in/out transactions, bills payments, and other workflows with an emphasis on timely settlements and accuracy.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of fiat transactions from initiation through backend processing, exception handling, reconciliation, and final settlement across partner banks and networks such as BancNet.
- Monitor real-time transaction flows using dashboards to proactively identify service issues, coordinating with internal teams and external partners for swift resolution.
- Develop and mentor an operations team by setting clear goals, providing ongoing support, and fostering scalable processes that enhance customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
- Analyse weekly KPIs and operational metrics to uncover inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement in payment conversion rates, turnaround times, and reconciliation precision.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance teams to design backend systems that automate workflows while maintaining auditability and robust risk controls.
- Ensure operational readiness for new features or partnerships by supporting smooth go-to-market execution from an operations perspective.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements related to fiat money movement, customer funds handling, and transaction monitoring.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including banks, e-wallets, payment gateways, and clearing houses to reinforce operational reliability.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects under the payments initiative as needed.

- 4-6+ years of relevant experience in fiat operations or payments infrastructure within fintechs or financial institutions; at least 1-2 years spent managing or leading teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations or related field; advanced knowledge of financial operations or reconciliation processes is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee high-volume transaction systems while managing daily KPIs including escalation handling and downtime response.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proven experience optimising processes; comfortable interpreting operational metrics using tools like Google Suite or Excel dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino; adept at working collaboratively across functions such as product management, engineering, compliance or vendor relations.
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing hands-on tasks when required; able to balance big-picture planning with practical delivery.
- Highly organised approach with a process-oriented mindset; thrives when priorities shift or operational demands increase.
- Willingness to provide on-call support or incident management assistance as necessary.
