An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Biñan, Laguna. This role offers the chance to oversee and optimise all operational functions within a technologically advanced facility specialising in hygienic cotton products, skin care items, hospital-use supplies, and personal care goods.

As Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient production processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability across multiple departments.

What You'll Do

As Operations Manager based in Biñan, Laguna, you will play an integral role in overseeing the entire spectrum of operational activities within a modern manufacturing facility.

  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance to Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations throughout the facility.
  • Oversee daily production activities in a specialised cotton manufacturing environment, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor section heads including Production Supervisors, Warehouse Managers, Maintenance Leads, and Plant Supervisors to foster professional growth and teamwork.
  • Utilise data-driven decision making by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in productivity, safety, and cost control.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to guarantee timely delivery of products that meet rigorous quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure machinery reliability through preventive maintenance programmes and technical troubleshooting.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and eliminating operational bottlenecks.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory levels, proper material flow, safe storage practices, and effective stock reconciliation procedures.
  • Develop coaching strategies for department leaders that promote employee engagement, continuous learning, and high performance across all teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive operational reports for top management detailing performance metrics, challenges encountered, forecasts for future output, and actionable improvement plans.

What You Bring

To excel as Operations Manager in this manufacturing setting located in Biñan, Laguna, you should bring substantial experience overseeing large-scale operations within industrial environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology or related discipline is preferred for this position.
  • At least ten years’ experience managing manufacturing operations with increasing leadership responsibility is required.
  • Proven track record working with production machinery and equipment within manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Prior exposure to fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), paper industry, home care or similar sectors would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production processes as well as engineering support systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex processes and implement practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards along with experience implementing quality systems is expected.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven capability in people management across diverse teams are necessary for success.
  • Excellent communication abilities coupled with strong problem-solving aptitude are vital for this role.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies; openness to training on advanced systems; adaptability within specialised manufacturing setups is important.
