Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function. Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines. Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline.

Job Responsibilities
- Operations Manager must ensure that the manufacturing operations assigned with will operate at highest standard in Manufacturing Practice in relation to:
- Health and Safety
- People
- Quality
- Delivery/Productivity
- Cost
- Continuous Improvement
- Manages a team of cell leaders to ensure all quality related items are complete and documented
- Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
- Directs cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
- Directs scheduling to meet production schedules.
- Sets the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
- Leads materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
- Manages multiple cells' performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
- Directs production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
- Liaises with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
- Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent
- 8 years relevant experience in manufacturing set up, with specialized knowledge is an advantage
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient
- With background and understanding on ERP system (E1,JDE or SAP)
- Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills
- Must be at least a year in his/her current position
- Must not be under Performance Success Plan
