Job Overview

GoPeople is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to manage and oversee delivery job handling. This role involves grouping and assigning jobs to drivers (Runners), ensuring deliveries are completed on time, and serving as a reliable point of contact for both Senders and Drivers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This is a 100% onsite role with a shifting schedule, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Senders in booking and managing delivery jobs.

  • Group and assign jobs to drivers based on location, urgency, and availability
  • Publish jobs to attract new drivers and grow the Runner network
  • Monitor job progress and ensure deliveries are completed on time
  • Handle customer cases and complaints professionally, empathetically, and positively
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and other delivery-related requests
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues and internal teams to resolve delivery issues
  • Record all job activity, customer interactions, and relevant updates in the system
  • Provide feedback on delivery process efficiency and customer service improvements
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, clear, and helpful support
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for both Senders and Drivers

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, customer service, or support roles—ideally in delivery or transport
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and resolve issues in real time
  • Comfortable handling both customer-facing and driver-facing interactions
  • Proficient with digital tools such as CRM systems, routing apps, and communication platforms
  • Calm, empathetic, and professional under pressure
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Willing to work 100% onsite with a shifting schedule, including weekends
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential with relevant experience
