Key Responsibilities
- Understand at a detailed level objective of strategic initiatives/projects
- Clearly state desired outcome of work assignment
- Analyze data/processes to support desired outcome of strategic initiative/project
- Act as liaison between the business and systems areas
- Influence and negotiate with others to meet deadlines
- Identify key stakeholders and contributors to support initiatives/projects
- Facilitate work assignments, deadlines, and follow up
- Report on progress/status of initiatives/projects to team members and management
- Writes, builds, and/or edits presentations
- Present regular updates to management
- Perform analysis of objective to determine workload requirements
- Perform analyst work to support completion of initiative/project
- Provide operational support to internal and external customers
- Support development of onshore and offshore associates as Subject Matter Expert
- Analyze and solve complex processing issues
- Analyze and solve complex escalated cases involving management as needed
- 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis/requirements development supporting small to medium initiatives/projects
- University Degree in Finance or Business
- Preferred - Agile Experience – Proficiency in drafting user stories with clear solution criteria
- Knowledge of testing procedures, case development and expected results
- Insurance experience preferred
- 1-3+ years of investment or relevant business experience, preferably in investment operations or investment research.
- Strong analytic skills and an ability to quickly synthesize large volumes of information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability of work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of accounting and performance standards around valuations including ASC Topic 820, IFRS 13, and the GIPS Valuation Principles.
