Onboarding Specialist

As the Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering a smooth and compliant new hire experience. Serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, you will guide them through the onboarding process, ensure the timely completion of all required paperwork and background checks, and provide support by addressing any questions or concerns.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assign and manage new hire paperwork and background check packages based on client and legal requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
• Review and approve onboarding documents, including Form I-9, employment agreements, and client-required forms.
• Assess background check results, make informed decisions on acceptances, discuss findings with candidates, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support ongoing compliance requirements, such as license renewals and medical testing.
• Maintain accurate records and track candidate progress, ensuring transparency with internal teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in onboarding, HR, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-growing business environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with a service-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a quick learner of new systems.
• Knowledge of US onboarding processes and compliance requirements.

Location and Working Environment:

• Location: Apex Sky 18F Skyrise 3B, Cebu IT Park, Cebu City 6000, Philippines.
• Hours: 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. PHT, to support United States-based Clients.
• This role operates full-time in the office.
