Position Overview:

As an Offshore Accountant, you perform a range of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial analysis, and more, using digital tools and communication technologies. Your services will be outsourced to our direct clients where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 11:00 PM- 8:00 AM PHT, Full time In-Office

Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Key Responsibilities of an Offshore Accountant:

  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • General Ledger Maintenance
    • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including recording financial transactions, accruals, and adjustments
    • Analyze accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
  • Accounts Payable
    • Manage accounts payable functions, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Handle accounts receivable tasks such as generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances
    • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure timely collection of receivables
  • Bank Reconciliation
    • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
    • Maintain records of financial transactions and ensure they align with bank statements
  • Financial Analysis
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into the organization's financial performance
    • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s is a plus)
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting/audit
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial standards

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

Monthly salary of 30,000php - 40,000php (depending on experience)

New hire bonus of 10,000php

Risk Allowance of 2,000php
