Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Finance Accounting Analyst 2 (Internal Job Title: Officer - C10) based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. The Finance Acctg Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

The role is intended to support critical Ledger maintenance activities such as Flexcube/FMS/CWM/FFS/Pearl system maintenance,

In-depth ledger maintenance investigations and handling escalations as needed. On top of the key critical items to be covered, the role is envisioned to be the standing subject matter expert of Global Ledger Platforms : Finance Full Suite and Pearl as well as legacy ledgers namely Flexcube and FFS.

Responsibilities:

• Performs data analysis and maintenance within the designed key controls.
• Deliver routine and defined outputs
• Escalate problems or issues related to processes, validations, or procedures
• Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
• Ensures the quality of the tasks or services provided are complete, accurate, and timely.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2 years and above experience in Finance
• Bachelor’s/University degree graduate
• Background in systems handling and data management - an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
