Occupational Health Nurse

• Administers first aid and respond to medical emergencies.
• Stores, administers and controls medical supplies, medicines and equipment’s.
• Maintain employee health records; Updates employee health database by verifying and entering data. Maintain employee health information confidentiality.
• Prevents injuries and illnesses by analysing historical records; researching occupational literature; recommending measures to reduce risks of injury or illness. Assessing the work environment for potential health problems
• Developing return to work strategies following serious injury or a period of prolonged ill-health (Case Management).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and employment regulatory requirements including report preparation and submittal to DOLE.
• Update on legal and professional changes associated with public and occupational health.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team (Emergency Response Team, HSE)
• Promotes healthy lifestyles e.g. weight reduction, stress control, cancer screening, hypertension screening and control, cholesterol reduction programs; Conduct blood pressure monitoring for identified high risk employees.
• Delivering health related trainings.
• Initiate vaccination programs for employees (if any), from procurement of vaccine to injection.
• Assist safety personnel in the preparation and regular submission of HSE reports and other related documents
• Perform such other related duties as directed

Job Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse preferably with Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Nurses (OHNAP)
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in construction or related field
• Willing to be assigned in Taytay Rizal
• Willing to work 6 times a week and shifting schedule
