The NOC team plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients, including both corporate and consumer businesses, receive timely and professional support. Operating on a 24/7 basis, our team conducts shift work to monitor the system effectively.
As a member of the NOC team, you will oversee complex network components and be responsible for network management. A key aspect of this role is Service Management, which involves monitoring the system, identifying alerts, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with IT teams and clients to troubleshoot problems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise the network system and continuously monitor alerts for effective Service Management
- Ensure the security and performance of the company's network
- Coordinate with third-party providers to secure network products and services
- Address tier 2 customer escalations and troubleshoot network issues
- Troubleshoot IP services and networks, resolving fault tickets within performance SLAs.
- Influence the enhancement and modification of network components
- Manage the integration of new network technologies
- Maintain network updates on VPN, WLAN, WAN, and LAN
- Provide customer support via various channels and communicate service schedules to users
- Document incident resolution and problem-solving processes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related field experience preferred
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Interest in Internet Technologies and ISP market technologies like routing, switching, and network infrastructure
- Willingness to work shifts on a 24/7 basis to support the network system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with technical proficiency
- Prior experience in an ISP environment is advantageous
- Professional certifications like CCNP are beneficial
